Stop losing jobs to missed calls

For Birmingham-area roofing, heating and air, plumbing and remodeling owners who can't always pick up the phone.

When you miss a call, the caller hears a short recorded greeting. They can press 1 to get a text from your business's AI assistant, or leave a voicemail. Either way, you get an alert so you can call them back.

Try it free for 14 days.

How it works

  1. You keep your number. You set your phone to forward calls you don't answer to a text-back line we set up for your business. It's one carrier code, and you can turn it off anytime with the carrier's cancel code.
  2. A missed caller hears a greeting. It names your business, says an AI assistant can text them, and asks them to press 1 if they want that.
  3. Press 1, get a text. Only callers who press 1 get a text. The AI assistant asks up to three short questions: what the job is, where it is, and how soon they need it.
  4. No press? No text. A caller who doesn't press 1 never gets a text. They can leave a voicemail after the tone.
  5. You get an alert. You get the caller's number and any answers they gave, so you can call back.

What your callers hear

Here is the exact greeting on our own line, (256) 814-7741. On your line, it names your business.

Thanks for calling Ripple Local Services. Sorry we missed you. Press 1 now if you want our AI assistant to text you at this number about your request, up to 5 texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Or stay on the line to leave a message after the tone.

If the caller presses 1, they hear:

Thanks. Our AI assistant will text you in a moment. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You can also leave a message after the tone.

The first text looks like this:

Ripple Local Services: Sorry we missed your call! I'm the AI assistant. What do you need help with? Reply STOP to opt out.

Straight answers

Will my callers know it's AI?

Yes. The greeting says so, and every text says it comes from your business's AI assistant. It never pretends to be you or a person.

Who gets texts?

Only people who called you and pressed 1. Up to 5 texts per call, about that call only. No marketing texts, no bought lists.

What about STOP and HELP?

Callers can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. After STOP they get one confirmation and no more texts.

What if I answer the call?

Then nothing happens. The assistant only steps in on calls you miss.

Is texting live right away?

Not always. US carriers require business texting to be registered (A2P 10DLC). We handle the registration with you, and texts to your callers start once it's approved. Approval times vary, so we confirm your go-live date at signup.

What does the assistant not do?

It doesn't answer calls, book appointments, give prices, take payments or send marketing. It isn't an emergency line.

What do you need from me?

One short setup call, your carrier name, your business hours, your OK on every text sent under your business name, and your business details for carrier registration.

The free pilot

Free for 14 days. You pay nothing during the pilot, and if you stop, there's no charge.

If you keep it after the pilot, it's $297 one-time setup, then $149 a month, month to month. Cancel anytime.
