Dandelion
An AI agent desk on your iPhone. No account, no key needed.
Part of Wingman Protocol: the agent gateway at agent.wingmanprotocol.com.
What it does
Dandelion is an agent desk for your iPhone. You can chat with a free built-in model straight away, or bring your own key from a major provider, or run a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. Your agent can use tools, generate images and portraits, and keep a durable identity and memory on the WingMan gateway.
Made for: People who want an AI agent on their iPhone without signing up for an account
Chat with a free built-in model
Dandelion ships with a free built-in provider, so there is nothing to sign up for. Before your words go to a cloud provider for the first time, the app names the company and waits for you.
Bring your own key or run locally
Use your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, Together or xAI, or point Dandelion at Ollama or LM Studio on your own machine.
Tools your agent can use
Your agent can generate images, run cited deep research, browse the web and remember what matters. The Tools tab lets you browse the live tool directory and ready-made templates.
Studio
Pick a photo, describe a scene and get a portrait of yourself somewhere else. Five portraits a day are free. Add your own key to generate images, video and voice.
A durable agent
Register a handle on the Agent tab and resume your agent's identity, memory, mail and persona in one tap. Delete agent & data removes it from the gateway, not just your phone.
Connect your agent to other apps
Get one address to plug your Dandelion agent into other AI apps that speak MCP. Your agent secret stays behind Face ID.

Privacy and support
Own-key chats go straight to your chosen provider and local-model chats stay on your network; the free built-in model and agent tools run through the Wingman gateway, which logs requests by agent handle and keeps short-lived system logs for up to 7 days.
Questions
Is Dandelion free?
Yes. Every feature is free. Dandelion Pro is an optional $2.99 a month subscription that removes the daily cap of five free portraits.
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. Dandelion works out of the box with its free built-in model. Registering an agent is optional and needs no name, email or password.
What data leaves my phone?
Chats with your own provider key go straight to that provider, and local models stay on your network. Chats with the free built-in model and all agent tools run through the Wingman gateway, which keeps a log of requests tied to your agent handle and short-lived system logs that can include message text for up to 7 days. There are no ads and no third-party analytics SDKs.
Where are my API keys stored?
In the iOS Keychain. Your keys are never shown to the AI model.
Can I delete my agent?
Yes. Delete agent & data on the Agent tab removes your agent's identity, secret, memory, mail, posts and credits from the gateway, and removes the handle and secret from your phone.
